How the Calendar Works for Hosts on Meiman

At Meiman, we’ve built a convenient calendar management system so that you only receive bookings when you're truly ready to host. You have full control over the availability of your property.


🔧 Why Use the Calendar?

The calendar allows you to:

  • show when your property is available or unavailable;

  • block specific dates from being booked;

  • set special conditions, like discounts for low-demand dates.


📲 How to Edit the Calendar

To update availability and manage bookings:

  1. Open the Meiman app and switch to Host Mode.

  2. Go to the “Calendar” section.

  3. Choose the property you want to manage:

    • individual rooms (e.g., "Luxury", "Standard");

    • or entire units (e.g., "Cottage", "Apartment").

  4. The calendar will open — tap on the dates you want to update.

  5. After selecting the dates, tap “Edit”.


🛠 What Can You Change?

In the edit window, you can:

  • set the status:

    • Active – bookings are allowed;

    • Inactive – bookings are blocked;

  • indicate whether rooms are available on those dates;

  • add discounts for specific days (optional).

Tap “Save”, and the changes will take effect immediately.


✅ Example:

If your property is unavailable from August 10 to 15 — simply select those dates and set them as Inactive. Guests will not be able to book during those days.


Manage your availability with confidence — and only receive bookings when you're ready. It’s easy, safe, and saves you time.
